Gas Golf Cart Sluggish Going Up Hills. I have a 1986 model Cub Car. Support for gas-powered and electric golf carts sometimes referred to as golf cars or club cars after the Club Car Golf Cart brand.
My Gas Golf Car seems to run OK until I go up a hill or try to haul something. EZGO 36V electric cart slow uphill. To set expectations my cart has a high speed 24ish mph motor came with cart and 500 amp controller and it still slows to 18ish up the steepest hill on Odell in Mallory.
This is a golf cart and runs on battery power.
They need a Club Car hand held programmer to make these changes. Lines carb no water in fuel nothing like that thin i can cut it off and let it set for a little bit and start it back up and it runs grate and does it all over again. This was our 4th trip using it and having some issues losing power going up steep hills. Frank Im sorry to hear that your golf cart looses power when going up a steep hill.
